Plagiarism Policy

Every manuscript that has passed the editor's desk evaluation or before being published will be checked for similarity using Turnitin/Ithenticate software. Documents must meet the maximum similarity limit of 20% to proceed to the review/production process.

The journal’s plagiarism policy is as follows:

  1. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 20% will be returned to the author for revision before further review.
  2. Manuscripts showing significant plagiarism or duplication will be rejected outright and not considered for resubmission.
  3. All forms of self-plagiarism (reusing one’s own published work without proper citation) are treated as unethical publication behavior.
  4. Authors bear full responsibility for ensuring the originality and accuracy of their work and references.

Through this policy, the journal guarantees that all published works demonstrate originality, academic honesty, and meaningful contribution to the advancement of Islamic Religious Education scholarship.
