Post-Publication Discussion

KASBANA: Journal of Sharia Economic Law encourages constructive scholarly discussion and critical engagement with articles after publication. Post-publication discussion provides an opportunity for readers, researchers, authors, and practitioners to raise questions, offer alternative interpretations, clarify findings, and contribute to the development of knowledge in Sharia economic law.

1. Submission of Comments and Responses

Readers and researchers who wish to comment on a published article may submit their comments or scholarly responses to the journal's editorial office. Submissions should clearly identify the article being discussed and provide a reasoned, evidence-based, and academically relevant argument.

Comments may address the research methodology, interpretation of legal provisions, analysis of Islamic legal principles, research findings, scholarly arguments, or other substantive aspects of the published article.

2. Editorial Assessment

All submissions for post-publication discussion are subject to editorial assessment. The editor will evaluate their relevance, originality, academic quality, factual accuracy, and compliance with publication ethics.

Comments must be respectful, constructive, and supported by appropriate references or evidence where necessary. Personal attacks, defamatory statements, unsupported allegations, and content unrelated to scholarly discussion will not be accepted.

The journal reserves the right to reject, request revisions to, or accept a submission for publication based on its editorial assessment.

3. Opportunity for Author Response

Where appropriate, the original author may be invited to respond to comments or criticisms concerning their published article. The response should address the substantive issues raised and maintain professional and academic standards.

The journal may consider publishing the comments and the author's response together or separately, depending on their nature and editorial judgment.

4. Corrections and Expressions of Concern

If post-publication discussion identifies a possible factual error, methodological problem, ethical concern, or other issue affecting the reliability of a published article, the editorial team will assess the available evidence.

When necessary, KASBANA may publish a correction, an expression of concern, or a retraction notice in accordance with its editorial policies and publication ethics procedures. Any action will be proportionate to the seriousness of the issue and intended to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record.

5. Ethical Standards

All participants in post-publication discussions must uphold academic integrity, respect differing scholarly opinions, and avoid conflicts of interest that could compromise the fairness of the discussion. Confidential information and personal data must be handled responsibly.

KASBANA is committed to fostering an open, fair, and respectful academic environment in which published research can be critically examined and improved through evidence-based scholarly dialogue.

Post-publication comments and responses are subject to editorial approval and do not automatically guarantee publication.
