Peer Review Process

Jurnal Al-Umm: Progressive Research Journal  applies a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of every manuscript published. All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial evaluation by the editors to determine their conformity with the journal’s focus, scope, and author guidelines. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are then assigned to at least two reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.

The review process is conducted objectively, independently, and confidentially, with both authors and reviewers remaining anonymous (double-blind). Reviewers assess the originality, methodology, clarity of presentation, scientific contribution, and adherence to publication ethics. Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editor makes the final decision: acceptance without revision, acceptance with minor/major revisions, or rejection.

The entire peer review process upholds academic integrity, avoids conflicts of interest, and ensures that only high-quality manuscripts are eligible for publication.
