Section Policies

Al-Umm: Progressive Research Journal accepts manuscripts that fall within the focus and scope of the journal, particularly in the field of Islamic studies and socio-religious scholarship. Each submitted manuscript will be categorized into one of the publication sections according to its characteristics. The section policies include:

  1. Research Articles
    Contain empirical research results with clear methodology, valid data, and in-depth analysis. Articles must provide original contributions to the development of knowledge.

  2. Conceptual Articles
    Present theoretical discussions, conceptual analyses, or critical reviews of contemporary issues in Islamic studies. Conceptual articles should provide new perspectives or alternative insights relevant to the field.

  3. Review Articles
    Offer systematic reviews of previous studies on specific topics by providing synthesis, evaluation, and directions for future research.

All manuscripts submitted to these sections will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process in accordance with publication ethics standards.
