Al-Umm: Progressive Research Journal accepts manuscripts that fall within the focus and scope of the journal, particularly in the field of Islamic studies and socio-religious scholarship. Each submitted manuscript will be categorized into one of the publication sections according to its characteristics. The section policies include:

Research Articles
Contain empirical research results with clear methodology, valid data, and in-depth analysis. Articles must provide original contributions to the development of knowledge. -
Conceptual Articles
Present theoretical discussions, conceptual analyses, or critical reviews of contemporary issues in Islamic studies. Conceptual articles should provide new perspectives or alternative insights relevant to the field. -
Review Articles
Offer systematic reviews of previous studies on specific topics by providing synthesis, evaluation, and directions for future research.
