Authors who wish to submit articles to Al-Umm: Progressive Research Journal are required to adhere to the established writing guidelines. Submitted manuscripts must be in line with the focus and scope of the journal, original, unpublished elsewhere, and not under review in another journal. Manuscripts should be written in proper academic Indonesian or English.

The manuscript format should include a clear title, abstract (in both Indonesian and English) of 150–250 words, 3–5 keywords, introduction, research methodology, results and discussion, conclusion, and references. References must be written according to scientific citation standards (such as the latest edition of APA Style or as provided in the journal template).

Manuscripts must be typed using Times New Roman, 12 pt font size, 1.5 spacing, on A4 paper size, with a length of 12–20 pages. All manuscripts should be submitted through the Open Journal System (OJS) by registering an author account.
