PEMBERDAYAAN PENDIDIKAN REMAJA UNTUK MENCEGAH PERNIKAHAN DINI MELALUI PROGRAM LITERASI DAN PENDAMPINGAN BELAJAR DI DESA KLADI

Abstract

The high rates of school dropouts and early marriage practices remain serious issues in rural areas, including Kladi Village. This condition deprives adolescents of access to education, knowledge, and character formation that should be obtained through formal schooling. This study aims to empower adolescents to maintain access to education and raise awareness of the risks of early marriage through literacy programs and learning assistance. The methods employed include tutoring, literacy activities, motivational mentoring, and the involvement of community leaders in providing education. The results show an increased awareness among adolescents of the negative impacts of early marriage, improved literacy skills, and stronger motivation to continue schooling. Thus, the program is effective in reducing the vulnerability to early marriage through education and can serve as a model for youth empowerment in other rural areas.
