Article Retraction & Withdrawal

AL-GHAYAH: Progressive Research Journal has a clear policy regarding article withdrawal and retraction as part of its commitment to maintaining the integrity of scholarly publications.

  1. Article Withdrawal
Authors are allowed to withdraw their submitted manuscripts only before the review process is completed or during the early stages of editing, by submitting an official request to the editorial board. Manuscripts that have reached the final editing stage or are scheduled for publication cannot be withdrawn without academically or ethically justifiable reasons.

  2. Article Retraction
Published articles may be retracted if they are proven to contain serious violations, such as plagiarism, data fabrication or manipulation, research ethics violations, or redundant/multiple publications. The decision to retract an article is made by the editorial board based on recommendations from reviewers, available evidence, and in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Retracted articles will remain accessible in the journal archive with a clear note indicating that the article has been retracted along with the reasons for retraction.

This policy aims to maintain readers’ trust, protect intellectual property rights, and ensure the quality and credibility of AL-GHAYAH: Progressive Research Journal as a reputable academic publication
