The research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method by analyzing relevant scientific literature. The findings indicate that Islamic values such as amanah (trustworthiness), adl (justice), shiddiq (truthfulness), fathanah (wisdom), and tabligh (communication) play a fundamental role in shaping ideal educational leadership in the digital era. These values serve not only as moral foundations but also as practical guidelines for decision-making in education that is adaptive to technological advancement. The study also reveals that Society 5.0 offers significant opportunities to strengthen Islamic value-based education through digital technology, while also posing challenges such as educational dehumanization, digital inequality, and the weakening of spiritual values. In conclusion, the integration of Islamic values in educational leadership is a crucial strategy for creating an education system that balances technological mastery, character building, and students’ spiritual development.
Malikul Hasbi Muhammad Irsyad Baitussalam Akhmad Khamdani Copyright (c) 2026 GURU: Journal of Islamic Education Studies 2026-05-30 2026-05-30 2 1 1 13 PEMANFAATAN KECERDASAN BUATAN (ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE) DALAM PEMBUATAN MEDIA AJAR VISUAL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR ANAK DI RAUDHATUL ATHFAL https://ejournal.indafa.ac.id/index.php/guru/article/view/549
This study aims to examine the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the creation of visual teaching materials to increase children’s interest in learning at Raudhatul Athfal (RA). The problem underlying this study is the low level of interest in learning among children due to the lack of variety in conventional teaching materials. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. Data collection was conducted through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with teachers, and documentation of learning activities. The results of the study indicate that prior to the implementation of AI-based media, children’s learning interest was low in terms of attention, engagement, and enthusiasm. After teachers were facilitated in creating visual teaching materials using a generative AI platform, there was a significant increase in all three indicators of learning interest. Children demonstrated more focused attention, more active participation, and higher enthusiasm during the learning process. These findings indicate that the integration of AI as a tool to assist teachers in developing visual teaching media is a feasible, effective, and relevant innovation for implementation in early childhood education settings.
M. This study aims to analyze acceleration and optimization strategies of digital-based educational innovation programs at SMPN 1 Wanayasa. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that acceleration strategies include teacher training, formation of innovation teams, digital mentoring, and digital-based academic supervision. Meanwhile, optimization strategies include periodic monitoring and evaluation, strengthening teacher collaboration, and adaptive strategies in overcoming facility limitations. Supporting factors include school leadership, teacher collaboration, and infrastructure availability. Inhibiting factors include limited internet access, student devices, and teachers' digital competencies. The program positively impacts student engagement, conceptual understanding, discipline, and digital literacy.
Siti Aisyah Copyright (c) 2026 GURU: Journal of Islamic Education Studies 2026-05-30 2026-05-30 2 1 24 36 IMPLEMENTASI VIDEO PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS ANIMASI DALAM MENUMBUHKAN MINAT BELAJAR ANAK DI TK IT KOBARKA https://ejournal.indafa.ac.id/index.php/guru/article/view/550
This study aims to describe the implementation of animation-based learning videos in fostering children’s learning interest at TK IT Kobarka. The research questions cover: how animation videos are implemented in learning, how children’s learning interest changes before and after the use of the media, and what factors support or hinder its implementation. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study method. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews with the principal, teachers, and students, as well as documentation. Data analysis used the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, comprising data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that animation videos are used as an apperception tool with a duration of 5–7 minutes and are integrated with play-based learning, storytelling, and question-and-answer activities. After using animation videos, children demonstrated increased enthusiasm, focus, and willingness to answer questions. Supporting factors include institutional support, facility availability, and the engaging nature of animated media. Constraints include limited devices, technical disruptions, and the need for age-appropriate content selection. This study concludes that animation-based learning videos can effectively foster early childhood learning interest when used appropriately and supported by teacher readiness and adequate facilities.

Ahmad Supyan Dwi Ajeng Maulidya Makalao Copyright (c) 2026 GURU: Journal of Islamic Education Studies 2026-05-30 2026-05-30 2 1 37 46 PENCAPAIAN SAINS DAN SIKAP SAINTIFIK MURID SEKOLAH DASAR: STUDI KORELASIONAL DI LOMBOK TIMUR https://ejournal.indafa.ac.id/index.php/guru/article/view/539
This study aims to analyze the relationship between science achievement and scientific attitudes among elementary school students in East Lombok Regency. The study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational survey design. The study population consisted of 10,592 students. The sample comprised 370 students (this number was determined using the Krejcie & Morgan Table). The sample was selected using multistage random sampling to ensure proportional representation across schools and minimize selection bias. Science achievement data were obtained from learning outcome documents, while scientific attitudes were measured using a questionnaire adapted from the Kozlow and Nay instrument. Data analysis was conducted using Spearman’s rank correlation. The results of the analysis indicated a significant positive relationship between science achievement and students’ scientific attitudes (r = 0.672; p < 0.05), classified as a strong relationship. These findings indicate that improved science achievement contributes to the strengthening of students’ scientific attitudes. Therefore, science instruction in elementary schools needs to be designed in a meaningful and contextual manner to promote optimal learning outcomes while fostering students’ scientific attitudes.
Nana Fitriana Copyright (c) 2026 GURU: Journal of Islamic Education Studies 2026-05-30 2026-05-30 2 1 47 56
