The main
challenges include suboptimal governance of zakat distribution, limited managerial capacity
of amil, and the lack of integration of accountability and transparency principles in the
distribution process. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method.
Data were collected through observation, in depth interviews, and documentation involving
zakat administrators and local community leaders.
The findings indicate that strategic mentoring consisting of institutional capacity
strengthening, the development of standard operating procedures (SOP) for zakat distribution,
data-based mapping of mustahik (zakat beneficiaries), and training in financial management
and reporting significantly improves the effectiveness and accuracy of zakat distribution.
Empirically, the mentoring program resulted in several measurable outcomes, including
improved managerial understanding among amil, the establishment of SOPs as operational
guidelines, the availability of a more systematic and verified database of mustahik, and
increased transparency in financial reporting to the community. These improvements
contribute to more accurate targeting of zakat beneficiaries and foster greater awareness
among amil of the importance of good governance principles in zakat management.
Substantively, the empowerment of amil through strategic mentoring not only enhances the
quality of zakat distribution services but also strengthens public trust in village-level zakat
institutions. This study recommends a sustainable mentoring model based on community
participation as a strategy to strengthen the institutional capacity of zakat administrators in
promoting professional, transparent, and welfare-oriented zakat distribution.

Keywords: strategic mentoring, zakat distribution, amil empowerment, zakat governance,
community participation.
Andi Susanto, Armawi, Zaini Miftah Copyright (c) 2026 AL-GHAYAH : Community Dedication Journal https://ejournal.indafa.ac.id/index.php/al-ghayah/article/view/528 Fri, 27 Mar 2026 00:00:00 +0000 EDUKASI BAHAYA INVESTASI ILEGAL DAN PINJAMAN ONLINE ILEGAL DI KECAMATAN CERMEE https://ejournal.indafa.ac.id/index.php/al-ghayah/article/view/527
The rise of illegal investment schemes and unlicensed online loans in Indonesia poses a significant threat to public financial security. The rapid access to digital information is not always accompanied by adequate moral literacy, requiring adaptive and contextual curriculum innovation. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to improve teachers’ competencies and strengthen students’ moral internalization through mentoring the implementation of an adaptive PAI curriculum at SMP Negeri 1 Cermee, Bondowoso Regency. The study employed a participatory action research (PAR) approach consisting of needs assessment, mentoring implementation, and evaluation stages. The participants included Islamic Religious Education teachers, students of grades VII–IX, and school management. Data were collected through participatory observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive qualitative methods. The results indicate an improvement in teachers’ ability to design contextual learning tools, increased students’ moral and spiritual awareness, and the development of an adaptive PAI curriculum document integrating Islamic values and digital literacy. Furthermore, the collaborative mentoring model between higher education institutions and schools proved effective in supporting character-based learning relevant to digital-era challenges. This program contributes to strengthening character education through the integration of religious values and contemporary social contexts in a sustainable manner.

Keywords: adaptive curriculum, Islamic religious education, digital moral literacy, teacher mentoring, character education.
Rofatayatun, Zainul Mun'im Copyright (c) 2026 AL-GHAYAH : Community Dedication Journal https://ejournal.indafa.ac.id/index.php/al-ghayah/article/view/512 Fri, 27 Mar 2026 00:00:00 +0000 PENGUATAN EKONOMI HALAL MELALUI PENDAMPINGAN IMPLEMENTASI MANAJEMEN BISNIS SYARIAH PADA USAHA MIKRO MASYARAKAT DESA SULING KULON https://ejournal.indafa.ac.id/index.php/al-ghayah/article/view/510
This community service activity aims to strengthen the halal economy through assistance in
the implementation of sharia business management in micro businesses in the village of Suling
Kulon. The main focus of the community service is to improve the understanding and
capabilities of micro-business actors in applying the principles of sharia business
management, which include clarity of contracts, business financial management, transaction
recording, and commitment to the halal status of products and business processes. The
community service method used is a participatory approach through the stages of
socialization, training, intensive mentoring, and evaluation. The activities were carried out
using interactive lectures, group discussions, simple financial record-keeping practices, and
direct mentoring at partner business units. The results of the community service showed a
significant increase in the capacity of micro-business actors. Statistically, the level of
understanding of business actors regarding the concept of Islamic business management
increased from 42% before mentoring to 81% after the activities. In addition, 75% of business
actors were able to implement simple financial record keeping separately between business and
household finances, compared to only 28% at the beginning. In terms of the clarity of
contracts and transactions, there was an increase in compliance with sharia principles from
35% to 78%. These results indicate that assistance in implementing sharia business
management is effective in supporting the strengthening of the halal economy and increasing
the sustainability of micro businesses in rural communities.

Keywords: halal economy, sharia business management, micro businesses, community
assistance.
Muhammad Abrori Copyright (c) 2026 AL-GHAYAH : Community Dedication Journal https://ejournal.indafa.ac.id/index.php/al-ghayah/article/view/510 Fri, 27 Mar 2026 00:00:00 +0000 PENYULUHAN LEGAL DRAFTING AKAD MUDHARABAH SEBAGAI UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KESADARAN HUKUM MASYARAKAT DI DESA BATTAL KECAMATAN PANJI KABUPATEN SITUBONDO https://ejournal.indafa.ac.id/index.php/al-ghayah/article/view/530
Mudharabah contract is a form of cooperation commonly used in community economic activities based on a profit-sharing system between the capital owner (shahibul maal) and the business manager (mudharib). In practice, especially in Battal Village, Panji District, Situbondo Regency, mudharabah agreements are often conducted orally without written agreements, which potentially leads to disputes in the future. Therefore, this community service activity aims to increase public understanding and legal awareness regarding the importance of legal drafting in mudharabah agreements. The method used in this activity was legal counseling through lectures, demonstrations of legal document preparation, practical exercises, and discussion sessions. The evaluation was conducted using pre-test and post-test methods involving 15 participants. The results show that the level of community understanding increased from 27% before the counseling to 61% after the counseling. In addition, the level of legal compliance also increased from 36% to 57%. These findings indicate that legal drafting counseling is effective in improving public knowledge and legal awareness regarding the importance of written agreements in business cooperation.

Keywords: legal drafting, mudharabah contract, legal awareness, legal counseling
Maughfiro Umrotus Zakiyah Copyright (c) 2026 AL-GHAYAH : Community Dedication Journal https://ejournal.indafa.ac.id/index.php/al-ghayah/article/view/530 Fri, 27 Mar 2026 00:00:00 +0000
