Abstract

Early marriage remains a pressing issue that hinders human resource development, particularly in Bondowoso Regency. The Thematic Community Service Program (KKN) in Solor Village was designed as a preventive effort through education and community engagement. This study aims to describe the activities conducted during KKN and their contribution to raising awareness on the risks of early marriage. Using field methods—observation, interviews, and documentation—the program identified increased community knowledge and active participation of youth and local leaders. Key activities included legal counseling, reproductive health education, and strengthening family roles in child development. These initiatives align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in promoting quality education and gender equality. The findings demonstrate that Thematic KKN can effectively foster collective community awareness to delay marriage age, thereby supporting the improvement of young people’s quality of life.
